Cultural Note
Brazilians are passionate about cold beer — it must be 'estupidamente gelada' (stupidly cold). The classic 600ml shared bottle (garrafa) is a social ritual. In Portugal, beer is called 'cerveja' too, but ordering varies by city: a small draft is 'um imperial' in Lisbon and 'um fino' in Porto. Super Bock and Sagres are Portugal's main brands.
